Your wedding won't be compromised by unexpected circumstances as long as you, the company and the crew have good working relationships and standards and communicate effectively and honestly.

Depending on the agency, there may be a disconnect between the pay of the crew vs the payment of your package, they get paid hourly usually well below standard, do t have liability insurance through the company, do t have any say in the post processing of your images and usually unfortunately once they leave the event they must give up their rights to their work.

You receive your final product on a more predictable timeline, however there is a bottleneck effect once you get into mid or larger companies with higher volume and the quality tends to be more consistent because multiple professionals are involved in the process. The flip side of this is the turnover, some companies only hire for one wedding or pay/compensate in other ways their teams so poorly since they lower the prices of their offered packages without compromising the deliverables that the staff can't stay long.

Urban Orchid, an LGBT owned business, took my breath away with their floral designs. They are, without a doubt, the best florists I have ever come across with the coolest all around staff!

Lake Affect Studios, Windows on the River, The Lantern Room/Penthouse Events, Collab Concepts, Radiant Bride, and Engaged with Nora were equally impressive with their unique offerings. From Lake Affect Studios' art-infused space to the stunning views at Windows on the River, the unique decor at The Lantern Room and Penthouse Events CLE, the innovative concepts and myriad of spaces catering to modern micro weddings at Collab Concepts, the beautiful gowns at Radiant Bride, and the fantastic, modern and FUN wedding planning services at Engaged with Nora, it was a treat to experience the diversity and creativity on display.
